
BMMI’s Consumer division takes over Carrefour!
Recently, shoppers at Carrefour were welcomed by an entire section at the supermarket featuring a variety of our products, including Red Bull, American Garden, Mars, Persil, Yardley, FA and DAC products, at promotional prices.
This huge and attention-grabbing display was the work of our Consumer division!
Last month we talked about collaboration at BMMI and how to break free of silos in our very own Believe it. Live it! We focused on the collaboration happening between the Consumer departments, involving Ehsan Ebrahim, Sales Manager – Nader Trading, Fadi Al-Mahamid, Sales Manager – Red Bull, Sooraj Kayyil, Sales Manager – Consumer, and Dhananjay Vadakkandy, Sales Manager – Consumer. This initiative was the perfect example of their collaboration! The showcase had shoppers swarming to the stands picking up products throughout the area.
The promotional area, which was displayed by the entrance, saw a majority of our products placed across seven displays on the shop floor for two weeks, starting from the 18th of February. In addition, the team managed to advertise and promote our products across two pages in the Carrefour leaflet, one is on the front page, grabbing customers attention immediately, and the other one is inside, including 13 items from both Nader Trading and Mars.
As an agreement with Carrefour, BMMI have occupied this area to showcase our products and promote BMMI as a strong company, hopefully opening up new business opportunities in the market, as well as achieving good return on investment! This is the first time Nader Trading, Mars and Red Bull have worked together in six years to display this type of promotion.
