Trainees in BMMI Djibouti: giving young people the chance to explore the professional world
BMMI Djibouti recently provided the opportunity for four eager fresh graduates and students to learn about the different professions and opportunities BMMI has to offer.
Due to the difficulties in finding proper jobs and the lack of training in specialised sectors, such as in mechanical and electrical maintenance, BMMI Djibouti aimed to address this gap by facilitating these young learners’ professional integration. This is done by providing them with the best working environment and the necessary skills they can use in their future endeavours in the professional workplace.
Three of these young and motivated learners, Abdi, Ahmed and Gouled, have an educational background in the maintenance of power generating installations, and lastly, Florian has a degree in international management.
Apart from practical and technical skills, they will also take part in courses that will help prepare them for the working world. These courses are based on how to create attention-grabbing and interesting CVs, as well as how to best prepare for a job interview. Once they complete their training in our premises, our doors are open to welcome a new batch of young pupils willing to experience and learn from us!
