BMMI has once again searched for young talent at the Bahrain Polytechnic Career Fair!

Reaching out to BMMI, Bahrain Polytechnic had invited the Group to participate in its third annual ‘Recruitment Campaign’. Over 100 young Bahrainis had the opportunity to meet with over 20 employers coming from different industries in the country.

HR Specialist Bency Paul and HR Administrator Zakeya Hassan were the two BMMI representatives at the event, where they enjoyed watching the students pitch themselves through an ‘elevator pitch’ style, where they quickly introduced themselves on stage for a maximum of two minutes each. They then had the opportunity to meet with the employers via a “speed dating” style, performing short interviews.

The students were introduced to BMMI Group, where Bency and Zakeya focused on our restaurants, food and non-food products, retail, supply chain solutions, GSS and our Iraq operations. “We both promoted some of the products BMMI distributes, it was impressive to see the reaction of not only the students, but also the staff at the university,” said Zakeya. “We were happy to be promoting our brand.”

Many excellent candidates were identified at the career fair and the HR team plans to meet them again in the near future to identify possible career paths for them within BMMI!
