Alosra knows that Ramadan nights are just not the same without good company and good food. Which is exactly why the fresh and friendly supermarket decided to combine the two with a delicious suhoor buffet.

On Thursday, 9 July, the Najibi Centre was decked out in Ramadan decorations, tables and a buffet spread that included some of the most loved traditional Bahraini dishes: balaleet, eggs with tomatoes, harees, khanfaroosh, lugaimat, cakes, chicken liver - to name a few.

The buffet was open to the public from 10pm to 1am…best of all, it was free of charge! To sweeten the deal, Alosra even offered customers a 10% discount on their groceries during these hours.

Needless to say, customers were thrilled and eagerly helped themselves straight away. Some customers who were too full after iftar to eat anything, made sure to come back post-midnight to indulge in the delicious fare!

The spirit of giving is always encouraged at Alosra, as one of its main goals is to ensure that our customers realise how valued and appreciated they are by the business. This small gesture was only one of the ways Alosra helps achieve this goal.

In addition, the suhoor event even encouraged employees to display true team spirit and served as a bonding session for all those involved. Alosra definitely foresees more events bringing the community and staff members together in the near future!
