Malja was jam-packed on Saturday, 5 September, for the launch of its biggest and most inclusive exhibition yet. With 50 artists under one roof, the Malja Call Out exhibition also marks the first open-concept showcase, where an open-call was posted, inviting all kinds of creatives to apply to have their work featured in the gallery space for the duration of the exhibition.

The artwork includes paintings, drawings, installations, photography, writing, and short films. The exhibition was curated by Ramah Al Husseini and the Malja team and will be on display until 31 October. Make sure to go check it out!

On the day of the opening, musical band, BG Harmony took to the stage to entertain visitors.
