Alosra Ramadan parcels
Ramadan is a month of generosity and this year Alosra made sure to spare no efforts to giving back to the community. Every branch (Amwaj, Saar, Juffair and Riffa Views) was charged with the task of preparing 250 snack boxes each and distributing them in neighbouring areas to those stuck in traffic when the call to the Maghrib prayer began. The branches rotated to give the parcels out every Friday, ensuring all neighbouring areas were covered by the end of Ramadan. The snack boxes included Arabic bread from the bakery (Alosra’s specialty), dates, laban, water and a piece of fruit. It was something simple to open the appetite as people made their way back home through the bustling streets.
The snack boxes were distributed by Alosra’s very own store staff and was a great initiative that brought the community together. The employees were very happy to partake in this event, describing it as fun and rewarding. “Those who received the snack boxes looked thrilled and enjoyed the goodies Alosra had prepared for them,” said Marketing Executive, Danya Alalaiwat. “It’s these types of initiatives that are the most rewarding and make you feel proud to be part of the Alosra team.”
