In support of BMMI’s efforts and commitment to contribute to the communities in which we operate, our fresh and friendly supermarket, Alosra, fed over 1,000 families in Bahrain during Ramadan, as well as supporting our community partners in feeding over 1,000 additional families.

The team worked together to distribute food boxes to disadvantaged families across Bahrain by providing them with essential food staples that are crucial to their wellbeing during Ramadan. The boxes consisted of non-perishable items such as cooking oil, flour, sugar, salt, pasta and much more. Employees distributed in areas surrounding Saar, Amwaj, Juffair and Riffa, as well as partnering charities distributing to Sanabis, Muharraq, Sanad, Nuwaidrat, Hamala and Maqaba.

“Ramadan is all about helping people, especially disadvantaged families,” said Hisham AlMarzooq, Amwaj and Juffair Branch Manager. “Alosra always tries to help in any way it can, and every year we donate or distribute food parcels.
