Network Administrator, Yousif Salem, and MIS Manager, Mohammed Al Ameer, recently received Winning Hearts awards from Corporate Communications & Brand Executive, May Al Mousawi.

The Corporate Communications team was experiencing some IT issues related to their internal newsletters and were working towards a tight deadline. Yousif happily dedicated his time, working with the team to come up with solutions and liaising with their supplier in order to help circulate the internal newsletter to all staff before the end of the working day. Moreover, once a solution was provided by the IT department, he spent three days in our Sitra HQ to resolve the issue and ensure that the team did not encounter the same issue again. “He was a true team player and although it took time and hard work, he was happy to help and mentioned that it was a great learning experience. Yousif has always been supportive and never gives up until a solution is found,” said May.

Working towards a tight deadline, Mohammed worked long hours, through his lunch breaks, in order to help segment the team’s mailing list. This lengthy task took him under two days and was received before the deadline given. “Now with this new segmentation, the team are able to target specific employee groups as required,” added May.
