La Vinoteca Barcelona and Café Amsterdam are ending the year on a high note. Our restaurants recently received four awards at the annual Citi FACT Dining Awards 2016 ceremony.

With two combined awards, and two solo accolades, they have proved that hard work pays off, as this is another milestone for both restaurants.

The ceremony took place at Art Rotana in Amwaj and La Vinoteca Barcelona took home the ‘Best Mediterranean Restaurant’ award, with Café Amsterdam winning the ‘Best European Restaurant’. Both restaurants also won two combined awards for having the best independent brunch on the island, as well as the best al fresco dining experience.

Speaking of the recognition, Executive Chef Joan Gomez said, “This is another great year for us and we are very proud of this recognition, especially knowing that people have voted us as the best restaurants on the island for Mediterranean and European cuisine. With no doubt this will motivate the team even more to keep up the hard work and try to deliver even better numbers as well as keeping the consistency and quality in our delivery, to make BMMI proud of both our restaurants.”
