BMMI Djibouti is invited by the French army!
The Institute of Higher Studies of National Defense (IHEDN) recently joined the French forces in Djibouti to attend their annual study mission. BMMI Djibouti were lucky to be invited to the event by the French army and to witness their training.
The event consisted of a programme that included lectures and demonstrations that enabled them to grasp the strategic stakes of the Horn of Africa and to take part in exercises.
IHEDN is a French institution placed under the direct supervision of the Prime Minister and takes place at L'Ecole Militaire. Each year, senior civilians and military executives, both French and foreign, are selected to take courses in this institute. The institute brings together senior officials from the civil and military civil service, to encourage knowledge of defense, foreign policy, armaments and defense economics. The auditors receive training through committee work, conference-debates, visits and study missions in France or abroad.
