Executive Chef, Landry Djossou, from GSS Ghana, was tasked to travel to Gabon at the end of last year, to support and assist the GSS Gabon’s catering service at Maurel et Prom.
Chef Landry made an excellent contribution to improving the team’s performance on site at Onal; which resulted in increased motivation and team spirit among the catering team. He also contributed to the much improved scores from the client on the satisfaction survey for the food service aspect of the contract.
Chef Landry also supported the team prepare and provide the client with a successful and well received special dinner event to mark the St Barthe festival Day in December 2017.
Several training sessions and toolbox talks were also carried out by Chef Landry for the site teams, which covered Customer Service and various HSE topics.
Both the client and his GSS Gabon colleagues appreciated Chef Landry’s contribution during his mission, which led to a positive impact on operational performance.
As a result of his outstanding work and team spirit, Chef Landry was nominated and awarded with a Winning Hearts award, for the delivery of exceptional service driven by our company’s core values. He took the initiative to perform above and beyond what was required of him.
