The end of last year proved to be hectic for the BLS team as they led the year end stock and had to ensure everything was done perfectly and in time.

“Members of the team had led the year end stock take successfully by putting in their time to prepare for the stock take activities, additional efforts to complete the assigned tasks during the peak time of the month, along with their routine responsibilities,” said Assistant Operations Manager, Sadiq Abdul Nabi.

As a result, Operations Supervisor, Zakariya Salman Ayyad, Senior Storekeeper, Sajid Parayarukunnath and Storekeeper, Victoriano Mariano, were awarded for their hardwork and determination by  Sadiq.

The men verified the system to ensure all LPNs were present at the correct locations. This involved as many as 435 wine pallets and 288 spirits pallets. All their efforts resulted in completing the stock take on time, accurate and with minimum overtime.

“They achieved 117% of the January target of cycle count, which has resulted in increased efficiency, reduced mistakes and in turn has reduced credit notes and returns,” added Sadiq. “They truly deserve this recognition for their achievement.”
