HR Climate Survey results
The HR Climate survey results were recently circulated, and many of you had a lot to say. Here, we decided to share with you some of the comments that were mentioned.
Many of you had a lot of nice things to say about our team, and some of you even offered suggestions and advice. We want you to know that we are listening and it hasn’t gone unnoticed. The team is working on it – you spoke and we listened!
Take a look below to see just a glimpse of what the team received!
- I suggest to create a team of change agent to help reinforcing the right culture, since the company have largely expanded and the new commerce may not be fully aware about the original culture.
- Motivation blossoms in a well-developed culture that recognises the employee’s personal work needs and desires and allows people to fulfill these needs through the business tasks. When people are recognized and appreciated for who they are and what they can contribute, the two-way benefits are large and unending.
- Staff should have regular meetings/updates/communication with management team as this is very important for the organisation. Management should always support and listen to employees issues.
- HR needs to be more careful when they recruit people, because it will effect the management and the business of our company - put the right person in the right place, especially in customer service department.
- A little more incentive and appreciation would be great, but anyway I would say that it’s a great opportunity to work with BMMI.
- Rules & benefits should be same for everyone.
- I am glad to be a part of BMMI family; I appreciate all staff in BMMI because they support me and all staff to work as a team in health environment.
- More options can be provided as and when needed to improve the working experience. Overall it is a fantastic platform to learn and improve.
- The relation with management needs improvement, the business of hospitality is driven by humans, people that need to be recognised even when the numbers are not aligned with the objectives. As a company we need to pull all in the same direction, and forget about personal egos or preferences, only like this we will be able to achieve the excellence.
- It is unfortunate to see how the Winning Heart's culture is not effectively exercised throughout the Group. I think people fail to realise that WH's is not only about rewarding and recognising people but it is also about behavior, accountability and so forth. While it is important to be rewarding employees, it is also necessary to focus on the things that are neglected. Nepotism and favoritism seems to be exercised especially in the corporate office, which is quite discouraging. As much as inclusivity is promoted, a lot of employees don't feel that way. Senior management needs to be more vocal with employees to encourage inclusivity. There needs to be a focus on training managers specifically on issues like corruption, fairness and so forth. Employees view's and expertise should be taken more in consideration especially in the decision making process. There needs to be more progressive and forward thinking not just talking about but truly changing things like working hours, flexibility, schemes, strategic training and all of that.
