PIP 3 begins
Nine employees met at Downtown Rotana, at the start of this month, to kick off the Productivity Improvement Programme (PIP).
The participants were nominated by their divisional managers and attended a 3-day course. PIP aims to help participants identify areas to improve in terms of productivity, along with methods to improve them, as well as measuring work productivity levels using more than 19 internationally recognised tools. The program takes a ‘learning by doing’ approach and consists of three levels. The first level is a three-day interactive workshop, the second level consists of identifying a productivity improvement project, while the final level involves the preparation of the plan’s implementation, as well as performing initial actions in the productivity improvement project.
The program is designed and delivered by JAFCON Consultants for Productivity Improvement and is also accredited by the Institute of Management Services (IMS) in the United Kingdom.
The course concluded with an examination, and a graduation ceremony will follow in November! Good luck to all the participants!
