WSET training
Our Beverages and Alto team got together for one week to take part in an intensive training conducted by WSET, the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. The level 1 and 2 training took place from 24 September to 1 October at the Downtown Rotana where an external trainer from WSET flew in, thanks to the Learning and Development team!
Using their expertise, the trainer ensured all participants were fully knowledgeable and able to further help and serve our customers.

“Receiving the WSET course has created commercial value for both myself and BMMI. The course enabled us to gain a deeper understanding of the key categories of wines and spirits, unlocking the potential to engage the product with the customer and the sales mix. We benefitted from the investment of education and personal development, it has delivered tangible benefits of knowledge and product information, demonstrating the confidence that we obtained with the course we can now have navigate consumers for the choice of wines, satisfying customer needs and preference as per their taste, encouraging consumers to trade up through the wide categories of wines and spirit available in BMMI.”
