Jawaher worked hard to ensure her project, which involves improving BMMI’s supplier payment process – reducing delays, manual processes & improving supplier satisfaction, was successfully implemented!

Finance Senior Manager, Mahmood Mohammed, recently awarded Jawaher with a Winning Hearts certificate as the previous manual process was prone to errors, leading to internal complaints from authorised signatories, fines from banks and ultimately supplier dissatisfaction for returned cheques and lack of communication.

With this new system in place, manual and administrative related effort and cost is reduced, as well as a reduction in turnaround time. It also provides a secure platform for online authorised signatures and is already integrated with HSBCnet and has an in-built cheque printing workflow. So no more returned cheques, an option to approve multiple cheques at a click of a button, accuracy of signatures and the technology also has an inbuilt feature that notifies suppliers when their cheques are ready.
