At the end of last year, BMMI hosted its first ever Christmas market at our restaurants. There was a call out for volunteers and Zablon Loy jumped at the opportunity and gave it his all. He did a remarkable job and it didn’t stop there. His energy and enthusiasm was also apparent at a recent wedding that was hosted at La Vinoteca Barcelona. He was proactive, helpful and as the Group’s Executive Chef, Joan Gomez, describes - “loyal”. He continued by stating that, “Zablon has been with us for a long time and has learned a lot and developed his career remarkably. He always delivers excellence.”

Moreover, La Vinoteca Barcelona’s Sous Chef, Mohammed Hassan, has been very supportive with the Alto lounge, especially in boosting its offering. “He is always ready and never fails to impress. He has displayed outstanding performance and always assists and supports,” said Joan.

That is why Joan awarded both of them with a Winning Hearts certificate to encourage their hard work and determination in ensuring everything is given their 100%.
