
Mohammad is awarded by the ministry
Our very own Mohammad Jaffar Abdulla Ahmed, our BLS Senior Operations Supervisor, was awarded by the Ministry of Labour and Social Development in recognition of his outstanding performance.
The Diligent Employee Award ceremony was held under the presence of the Minister of Labour, Mr. Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan who presented the awards to the select number of employees from different companies across the Kingdom.
Mohammad has been with BMMI for the last 15 years. He started as a Warehouse Assistant and gradually through sheer hard work and dedication he got to where he is today.
Mohammed was nominated by Head of Logistics, Ramachandran Kandambeth. “He continuously displays a great sense of dedication through his positive attitude, knowledge, skills and leads his staff to achieve the best in most efficient and timely manner”, explained Ram. “During the past he has been instrumental in centralising the BLS activities, eliminating the silos and successfully implementing the QR system in Consumer/Mars logistics operations. In addition to these, he put in a lot of effort in realigning the warehouse layout plan, optimising the storage utilisation”, he added.
Mohammad has been entrusted with Consumer/Mars logistics operations which one of the busiest and most demanding areas, where he and his team handle 4400 orders and 200,000 cases of volume per month. He has completed several training courses and is currently engaged with PIP, CILT, UK as part of his continuous personal development.
