The last quarter of the year saw many of our colleagues recognised for their exceptional work. Take a look at who’s been awarded!

GSS and BMMI Djibouti

Mohammed Yateem, Amy Alexander, Linda Drozario, Prasanth Reddy, Tareq Ahmed and Shane Balean from our GSS Bahrain team were recently handed Winning Hearts awards for their efforts in successfully putting together a competitive bid that helped secure us two big contracts. Furthermore, Dipesh Devadas also earned a Winning Hearts award for being recognised by Navy Exchange Senior Leadership in appreciation for his engagement and support to the programme there.

Furthermore, a number of our employees in GSS South Sudan, GSS Sudan and BMMI Djibouti, received Winning Hearts awards for how exceptionally well they live our values, and all their diligent hard work.

FPU and Alosra

Ronald Ombagi and Pradeep Krishnan from our FPU team were also recently recognised with Winning Hearts awards for all their hard works to ensure customer satisfaction and going above beyond their daily responsibilities to ensure best results, while also always displaying team spirit!

Mahmood Shehab and Mahmood Ameeri were recognised with Winning Moments for how well they handled the Alosra import division when many of their colleagues were on leave. They were truly supportive of the entire stores operations team and made sure everything went smoothly and successfully!

Beverages

Pranesh Rai was also recently recognised with a Winning Hearts award for going above and beyond to ensure an urgent request was processed, while always living our values, especially team spirit.

Sayed Ali Jamel and Hassan Abdullah from our BMMI Shops’ security team were also awarded for their diligence, fast action and ensuring customer safety.

BMMI Shipping Services

BSS’ Operations Manager in Saudi Arabia, Loay Gziwe, was also recognised for his tireless work to secure important registrations, get BSS operational in KSA and collaborate with various of our business streams across the business. In a short time, Loay was able to truly prove how well he embodies our Winning Hearts, and helped us set up the office in KSA, even securing an important contract.

Abudlzahra Khedhair from BSS was also recognised with an award in appreciation of his dedication, going the extra mile and taking on difficult tasks head on. Furthermore, even in adverse situations, he remains positive and cheerful, ensuring customers receive the best service at the highest standard.

Corporate and business partners

If you’ve ever been to the BMMI Tower’s corporate offices, you have undoubtedly been met with Ramana Goud’s infectious mile and positive attitude. Ramana is always available to help, and constantly goes above and beyond. Furthermore, Zuhair Abbas, similarly displays our Winning Hearts culture, constantly goes above and beyond, is very hard worker and is known for his friendly attitude. Both Ramana and Zuhair were recognised for being true BMMI heroes behind the scenes!

Finally, several members of the IMS team were recognised by Gregory White, Senior Manager – Performance and HR, Global Sourcing and Supply, for all their efforts to constantly support the GSS team and ensure that everything is up to standards.
