In 2014, BMMI successfully ventured into Bahrain’s competitive restaurants industry. With an initial investment of BD1.5 million, and leveraging on its relationships with beverage brands it supplies exclusively to the market, BMMI opened a unique restaurant concept within one of Bahrain’s main dynamic dining districts, block 338 in Adliya.
La Vinoteca Barcelona is considered home of authentic Spanish food and culture in Bahrain, as well as one of the country’s oenological authorities. The restaurant was launched in collaboration with Bodegas Torres in Spain, and its contemporary take on the country’s cuisine is complemented by an extensive wine list. La Vinoteca Barcelona is a multiple annual award winner and went through a major revamp and relaunch in 2017.
In 2017, BMMI introduced another dining establishment, Bahrain’s ultimate rooftop lounge and bar concept, Alto. Located on the 25th floor of Downtown Rotana, Alto’s focus on elevating Middle Eastern cuisine and reinvigorating the nightlife scene quickly made the lounge a formidable competitor in the market.
Alto’s menu features modern interpretations of the region’s cuisine, as well as a creative craft cocktail list. With sweeping panoramic views of Bahrain’s capital and regularly sold out events with signature oriental fusion music and guest DJ’s and performers, Alto has quickly become one of the country’s ultimate cosmopolitan escape destination.
