Alosra Supermarket launched its Irish Week yesterday, bringing a taste of Ireland to Bahrain with more than 800 products available across its Saar, Amwaj and Janabiya branches from September 23 to 30.

The week-long celebration was officially launched at Alosra’s Saar branch in the presence of His Excellency, Micheál Smith, Ambassador of Ireland to the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Yemen. His Excellency joined the Alosra team for a tour of the store and its extensive Irish offering, marking the start of the week’s activities.

Throughout Irish Week, customers can discover more than 800 products from Ireland, including favourites from SuperValu and its premium Signature Tastes range. The extensive selection brings together everyday essentials, speciality items and much-loved Irish products, giving customers the opportunity to explore authentic tastes from Ireland while offering members of Bahrain’s Irish community a feeling of home away from home

“We are delighted to launch Irish Week and offer our customers such an extensive selection of products from Ireland,” said Ayachi Jomaa, Head of Alosra Supermarket. “Irish products are known for their quality, and we know that many of our customers already enjoy and look for them when shopping at Alosra. Irish Week gives us an opportunity to bring even more of these favourites together, while introducing our customers to new products and flavours to discover.”

Irish Week forms part of Alosra’s Global Weeks series, which brings products and flavours from around the world closer to customers in Bahrain. Through these events, Alosra continues to celebrate the diversity of the communities it serves while giving customers greater access to authentic international products and new tastes to discover.

Irish Week runs until September 30 at Alosra Supermarket branches in Saar, Amwaj and Janabiya.
