Alosra Supermarket has once again demonstrated its commitment to its promise — Always With You — by celebrating a new milestone in its ongoing mission to support the differently-abled community in Bahrain. Alosra recently hosted the graduation ceremony for trainees from the Alia Rehabilitation Center after they completed a hands-on vocational training program across two of Alosra’s flagship branches.

This event marks another accomplishment in Alosra's journey towards inclusivity. Through a strong and meaningful ongoing eight-year relationship with Alia Rehabilitation Centre, Alosra has consistently showcased its dedication to empowering the community, not just through training programmes, but also through many sponsorships of Alia’s events, facilities, and services. This long-standing collaboration reflects Alosra’s belief that businesses have a vital role to play in uplifting all members of society.

Launched in September 2024, the training programme ran twice weekly at the Amwaj Islands and Janabiya branches of Alosra Supermarket. It provided students with opportunities to develop real-world skills in areas such as stocking, customer service, and store operations, all within a supportive and inclusive retail environment. The initiative aimed to build not only capabilities but also confidence, in order to lay the foundation for future employment possibilities.

Integral to this success were the dedicated counsellors and support specialists from Alia Rehabilitation Centre and the Alosra Supermarket team. Their presence ensured each student’s individual needs were understood and supported throughout the programme. These compassionate professionals will also be celebrated during the graduation ceremony, in recognition of the critical role they played in helping the trainees flourish.
