
AMH Community Outreach Program
BMMI has donated items in support of the American Mission Hospital community outreach program. BMMI has given the hospital shampoo, soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes as give away items to be distributed to the 5 Social Centers where staff from AMH will be conducting health awareness programs. BMMI provided water and drinks for the team as well. Their total in-kind sponsorship was BD 3,000.
This year AMH will conduct 5 Community Outreach events around Bahrain at various Social Centers in coordination with the Ministry of Social Development. BMI Bank, the main sponsor of the Community Outreach sponsored the program with a BD 7,000 donation. Each program will include health screening, educational lectures and distribution of educational materials with the main focus being Diabetes awareness
Marketing and Development Manager Bahnaz Abbas said “As part of our continuing health awareness program, AMH is conducting 5 programs at various Social Centers in Bahrain. With the support of companies like BMI Bank and BMMI, we are able to provide health awareness to the community and offer the people in which to help improve their awareness. We are grateful to BMI Bank and BMMI for supporting us in this endeavor.”
Volunteers from BMMI and BMI Bank staff visited AMH and helped to organize the gifts that will be distributed at the social centers.
